Usain Bolt comes in at number five, his blistering return to form in London electrifying the crowds at the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games. The win laid the groundwork for his victory over Justin Gatlin at the World Championships in Beijing.
Gatlin, however, was imperious in the Diamond Race in 2015, and his performances occupy the rest of our top five. His world leading run in Doha opened the season in style, and claims number one spot. The victory set the tone for the rest of the season, as Gatlin went on to win the Diamond Race by an impressive 13 points.
