In exactly 50 days time, the 2024 Wanda Diamond League season will kick off in Xiamen, China.
The likes of Mondo Duplantis, Noah Lyles, Shericka Jackson and Sha'Carri Richardson will all be out for more Diamond League glory this season, with the world's premier one-day athletics series also providing the perfect preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris.
Xiamen, which made its debut on the circuit last year, will kick off a bumper, 15-meeting programme in the series' 15th anniversary year.
Calendar
The season willl begin in Xiamen on April 20th, before Suzhou hosts the second half of a Chinese double bill a week later. After stops in Doha, Marrakech and Eugene, Oregon, the first European meeting will take place in Oslo on May 30th.
After that, there will be four more meetings in the build-up to the Olympics, before the business end of the season in August and September. This year's two-day final will take place in Brussels on September 13th-14th.

Format
With 15 meetings, 2024 will be the biggest Diamond League season since the series inauguration in 2010, and will also welcome new cities such as Marrakech and Suzhou to the circuit for the very first time.
The format remains the same as ever however, with athletes competing for points at 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day series finale in Brussels.

Tickets for most of the Wanda Diamond League meetings are already on sale. Ticketing information for the remaining meetings will be published in due course. Ticketing is managed by the individual meetings.
