In 50 days time, some of the world's best athletes will take their first steps on the Road to the Final as the 2025 Wanda Diamond League season gets underway in Xiamen, China.
Xiamen will be the first of 15 meetings in the 2025 season, which will cross four continents before athletes battle it out at the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich on August 27 and 28.
Several Olympic champions and world record holders have already confirmed that they will launch their Diamond League campaigns in Xiamen.
Swedish pole vault star Mondo Duplantis, who broke the world record with 6.24m at last year's season launch in Xiamen, will be hoping to make a similarly explosive start when he returns to the Egret Stadium this year.
Kenyan distance star may also have her eye on a world record when she lines up in the women's 1000m, having broken four world records on the Diamond League circuit over the past two seasons.
There will also be stardust in the hurdles, as world record holder Karsten Warholm lines up in the men's 400m hurdles and Olympic champion Grant Holloway headlines the men's 110m hurdles.
Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who won in Xiamen back in 2023, returns to the city as a world record holder after she cleared 2.10m at the Paris Diamond League last year.
Meanwhile, Botswanan sprint sensation and 200m Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo will be out to get early points on the board in the men's 100m, after he narrowly missed out on the Diamond League title last September.
See below for extended highlights of last year's season launch in Xiamen, including Mondo Duplantis' breathtaking world record in the pole vault.
