Femke Bol will continue her campaign for a fourth straight Wanda Diamond League title after the Olympic Games in Paris when she returns to the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial Meeting in Silesia on August.
Bol has dominated the women's 400m hurdles since she burst onto the scene in 2020, winning three titles and 20 individual races over the past four years.
This year, she is hoping to claim the only major title which has so far eluded her when she attacks the gold medal in the 400m hurdles at the Olympic Games in Paris.
Yet even after Paris 2024, the Dutch superstar will still have plenty to compete for as she eyes a fourth successive Diamond League title. Silesia will be her first step on the home straight of the season.
She has good memories of the Polish meeting, having set a meeting record of 49.75 at the Slaski Stadion in the 400m flat back in 2022.
The Wanda Diamond League is the premier one-day meeting series in athletics. It comprises 15 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on 13th-14th September.
