Reigning Wanda Diamond League champions Neeraj Chopra and Miltiadis Tentoglou have joined the long list of Olympic gold medallists set to compete at the sixth leg of the season in Lausanne on June 30th.
Javelin star Chopra became the first Indian athlete ever to win the Diamond Trophy last season and began his title defence with a world leading 88.67m in Doha last month.
Greek long jumper Tentoglou also has a win under his belt already as he looks to defend his title this season, having claimed victory in Paris before his defeat to Switzerland's Simon Ehammer in Oslo last Thursday.
Tentoglou will face Ehammer once again in Lausanne, with the Swiss hoping to make it back-to-back wins in front of his home crowd at Athletissima.
Chopra and Tentoglou are part of a growing list of reigning Olympic and world champions who will light up the Stade de la Pontaise on June 30th.
In the men's 5000m, Olympic champion Joshua Cheptegei will take on 10,000m Olympic champion Selemon Barega and Oslo Diamond League winner Yomif Kejelcha.
The 1500m will see Olympic champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen take on world champion Jake Wightman, with the Norwegian looking to build on his European record in Oslo and avenge a surprise defeat to the Brit at last year's World Championships.
Other reigning Olympic champions include shot put world record holder Ryan Crouser, pole vault star Katie Moon and Puerto Rican 100m hurdler Jasmine Camacho-Quinn.
Diamond League champions Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Femke Bol will also feature in the women's high jump and 400m hurdles.
The Wanda Diamond League Lausanne is the sixth leg of athletics' premier one-day meeting series. It comprises 14 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 13 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on 16th-17th September.
