Diamond Trophy holder Chase Ealey will return to Bislett Games in Oslo in June as she bids to extend her long unbeaten streak and defend her Wanda Diamond League title in 2023.
US shot put star Ealey will be out to emulate her success at last year's Bislett Games, where threw a then personal best of 20.13m to pick up her second win of the season.
The 28-year-old went on to win five out of five Diamond League meetings that season, joining a select group of athletes who can boast of completing a perfect season in athletics' premier one-day meeting series.
Ealey will be out to continue that form in 2023, but faces stiff competition in Oslo, with five of the world ranking top six in action at the Bislett Stadium
Canada's Sarah Mitton is currently world number two behind the American, while Dutch star Jessica Schilder is number three. Former Commonwealth Games champion Danniel Thomas-Dodd of Jamaica and Sweden's world number six Fanny Roos will also be out for valuable points on the Road to the Final.
The Wanda Diamond League meeting in Oslo is the fifth leg of athletics' premier one-day series, which comprises 14 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 13 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on 16th-17th September.
