Fred Kerley and Faith Kipyegon will be looking to extend their winning starts to the Wanda Diamond League season in Italy, while the likes of Dina Asher-Smith, Femke Bol and Joe Kovacs are hoping for a first win of the summer.
The action at the Pietro Mennea Golden Gala begins at 18:30 local time (GMT+2) with the women's discus and the main programme starts at 20:00 with the women's 400m hurdles.
