Reigning world and Diamond League champion Grant Holloway will begin his 110m hurdles title defence in Rabat on May 28th, before heading to Paris in search of more points on June 9th.
Two-time world champion Holloway won the Diamond Trophy for the first time last season, and heads into the 2023 season as favourite to retain the title. He will face tough competition in both Morocco and France however, as he looks to get early points on the board in the first few meetings of the season.
In Rabat, the American goes up against Jamaicans Hansle Parchment, who pipped him to gold at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, and Rasheed Broadbell, who claimed his firrst Diamond League victory in Lausanne last year and is currently ranked number four in the world.
Two weeks later, Holloway will head to Paris to take on compatriot Devon Allen, who won at the Stade Charléty last season, and a host of French stars including Pascal Martinot-Lagarde and Wilhelm Belocian.
Holloway has also confirmed his appearance in a non-scoring race at the Silesia Diamond League in July, and he will be one of several big-name hurdlers in action at the next Diamond League meeting in Rabat.
The Meeting International Mohammed VI will also see a strong line-up in the women's 400m hurdles,with two-time Diamond League champion Dalilah Muhammad taking on Jamaicans Rushell Clayton and Janieve Russell.
TheWanda Diamond League is athletics' premier one-day meeting series, comprising 14 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 13 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on 16th-17th September.
