The votes have been counted, and the results are in. Throughout December we asked Wanda Diamond League fans on social media to vote for their favourite moment from a record-breaking season in 2023.
Candidates included Mondo Duplantis' pole vault world record and Jakob Ingebrigtsen's double Diamond League record in Eugene, as well as standout performances from Jamaican sprinter Shericka Jackson, Dutch hurdler Femke Bol and Ethiopians Lamecha Girma and Gudaf Tsegay.
But in the end, there was no getting past Kenyan distance legend Faith Kipyegon, who made Wanda Diamond League and athletics history in 2023 when she broke three separate world records in the course of a single season.
Her world records in the mile and the 5000m both made it onto the shortlist, but it was the first of her three triumphs - 3:49.11 in the 1500m in Florence - which won the overall vote.
