Kenya's 100m world leader Ferdinand Omanyala and Olympic pole vault champion Katie Moon are among the stars on the entry lists for the third Wanda Diamond League meeting of the season in Florence, which were published in full today.
Omanyala, who is the fastest man in the world over 100m so far this year following his 9.84 in Nairobi last weekend, will line up alongside the likes of world champion Fred Kerley and Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs in the men's 100m.
The star-studded headline event will also feature reigning Diamond League champion Trayvon Bromell and fellow Americans Erriyon Knighton and Kenny Bednarek.
In the women's pole vault, Moon will be out to pick up her second Diamond League win of the season as she chases the first Diamond Trophy of her career, having taken victory at the season opener in Doha earlier this month.
She is one of 15 Olympic champions in action in Florence, a list which also includes 2019 Diamond League 5000m champion Joshua Cheptegei and reining 1500m Diamond Trophy holder Faith Kipyegon.
Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo will go head to head with Diamond League champion Ivana Vuleta in the long jump, while Tom Walsh and Joe Kovacs are set to clash in the men's shot put.
