From Mutaz Essa Barshim's 2.36m and Iryna Gerashchenko's 1.98m in the high jump to Mondo Duplantis' 6.01m in the pole vault, official timekeeper OMEGA recorded some huge jumps at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Silesia on Sunday.
Barshim and Gerashchenko were among the 11 athletes who broke a meeting record in the Slaski Stadion, a list which also included Jakob Ingebrigtsen in the 1500m, Haruka Kitaguchi in the javelin and Wayde van Niekerk in the 400m.
Yet one of the biggest jumps - and this week's OMEGA Moment of the Meeting - came in the women's triple jump, with Olympic and Diamond League champion Yulimar Rojas marking 15.18m to set a new world lead and meeting record in the Polish pit.
It was only the second time Rojas had cleared 15 metres this season, and may yet prove a sign of things to come with the World Athletics Championships in Budapest now less than six weeks away.
As in previous years, the Venezuelan seems to be moving through the gears and into her best form at just the right time, having jumped a little further every single competition since she began her Diamond League campaign in Oslo last month.
"I feel very good and I am very confident after the performance today," she said after cruising to victory on Sunday.
With two wins and 16 points under her belt, Rojas is now well on course for qualification for the Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on September 16-17th. Based on her current form, there may be some even bigger, OMEGA-recorded jumps between now and then.
