The biggest stars of the men's triple jump will face off at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Oslo next month, in what could prove to be a dress rehearsal for the Olympic final in Paris later this year.
Italy's Andy Diaz Hernandez will be hoping to continue his brilliant Diamond League form after claiming a second successive series title in Eugene last September. The Diamond Trophy holder has won six of the last nine Diamond League meetings across two seasons.
He will have his work cut out in Oslo, however, against a star-studded field of veteran champions and current heavyweights.
Hugues Fabrice Zango is the reigning world champion and one of only a few men ever to clear the 18-metre mark. The Burkinabé star will be hoping to claim his first Diamond Trophy in 2024, as well as improving on the bronze medal he won at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021.
Christian Taylor is one of the two most successful athletes in Diamond League history, with a joint record seven titles to his name as of 2023. The US legend is also number two on the all-time list, thanks to his personal best of 18.21m in Beijing in 2015.
Algeria's Yasser Mohammed Triki claimed the silver medal at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow earlier this year, and has good memories of Oslo, having claimed his first and so far only Diamond League win at the Bislett Games back in 2021.
His fellow Glasgow medallist Donald Scott will also be on the startlist on May 30th, along with Cuban star Jordan Diaz.

Athletes compete for points at the 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on 13th-14th September.
