In 2024, our "Unscripted" series offered an exclusive, fly-on-the-wall account of life on the Diamond League circuit. From the weird and wonderful to the intimate and everyday, our cameras gave fans a glimpse of what it means to be an elite athlete.
In Suzhou, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Christian Coleman tried their hands at traditional Chinese glove puppetry, while in Marrakech, Jamaican sprint legend Yohan Blake dived into the bedlam of the city's famous Jemaa el-Fnaa market square.
During a quiet moment at the warm-up track in Oslo, South Africa's Akani Simbine talked about his post-career plans and the trials of summer travel, and we also caught up with the USA's biggest pole vault stars as they clashed over cards on the train to Stockholm.
Brazilian 400m hurdles star Alison Dos Santos confessed his love for Manchester City as he geared up for a shot at glory in London, while the cameras caught Italian high jump star Gianmarco Tamberi pulling some jazzy moves at pre-competition training session in Rome.
