Four-time Wanda Diamond League champion Ivana Vuleta will take on the very best of the women's long jump in Stockholm on July 2nd as she bids for a third successive Diamond Trophy in 2023.
Vuleta has been crowned Wanda Diamond League champion in both of the last two seasons, and is one of the most successful athletes in Diamond League history with four titles and 16 wins to her name.
Three of her wins have come in Stockholm, but she will face stiff competition in the Swedish capital this year. Olympic champion and world number one Malaika Mihambo will also be in action, with the German star hoping to regain the Diamond League title she last won in 2019.
European indoor champion Jazmin Sawyers, Nigeria's Ese Brume, Ukraine's Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk and Swedish favourite Khaddi Sagnia make up the rest of a strong field which includes six of the current top ten in the world.
The Wanda Diamond League Stockholm is the seventh leg of athletics' premier one-day meeting series. The WDL comprises 14 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 13 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on 16th-17th September.
